  • Silver: I know, I was there yesterday picking flowers and hiking : ) The weather looks great for the weekend*
  • SJTuckerMusic: Here's the link I wanted to share with y'all. One of our friends is involved. They help the homeless in Little Rock, and in recent days they loaded up to go to TX and help folks out after Harvey: https://www.facebook.com/ItsTheVan/
  • lafargo: just wanted to say one of my favorite lines from all your songs is "Do we kiss like poets imagine they do"
  • SJTuckerMusic: @Silver I am so glad. :D What kind of stuff should I pack to wear?
  • SJTuckerMusic: Weather-wise, I mean.
  • Brian"Boo"Greenway: <3 all of you, so very much. Wonderful to share this time with our beautiful bard with all of you. Thank you, Sooj!!!
  • SJTuckerMusic: @lafargo thanks!!
  • SJTuckerMusic: Boo, thank you for signing on! I lovah you face!
  • HeatherH: *hugs to all* Good night everyone. <3 until we meet again :) Thank you again Sooj!
  • SJTuckerMusic: Sweet dreams, Heather!
  • elfcrisis: Dunno if you saw earlier Sooj, but I wanted to mention again that it's nice to listen to your music that I can sing along with.
  • elfcrisis: Been listening to music in other languages lately.
  • elfcrisis: Always a joy to see you perform.
  • SJTuckerMusic: @elfcrisis I love so many songs that are in languages in which I have zero fluency.
  • Cheshire Moon: My favorite band right now sings in Mongolian ...
  • charles-hickle: i am always looking for music like that myself.
  • Cheshire Moon: Hanggai, great Mongolian folk punk ...
  • elfcrisis: Cheshire, it's not... yes, them
  • charles-hickle: yes hanggai is great
  • Silver: It's getting chilly at night but not really cold. As always with New Mexico; a jacket and sunscreen and everything you think you won't need (we had crazy snow last year at Beltane).
  • elfcrisis: They are so cool. I need to listen to more of their stuff.
  • SJTuckerMusic: @Silver copy that! :D
  • MommaBear: sometimes foriegn songs are the best ones, no clue what the words mean, just know they sounds beautiful
  • elfcrisis: I've been listening to uh, *cough*vocaloid*cough* music.
  • SJTuckerMusic: @elfcrisis the band has long since retired, but look up Madrigaia. Sooo many languages, seven-part harmony. I can't live without their Pleiades album.
  • elfcrisis: seven part harmony??
  • elfcrisis: Yeah looking them up now.
  • charles-hickle: lol never be embarrassed about listening to music lol i like some 1920 french music
  • MommaBear: 7???? goodness
  • elfcrisis: Oh, an a capella group
  • elfcrisis: Very cool.
  • elfcrisis: And mostly I'm not embarrassed about it, but if you're not familiar with this type of music, there's a certain implication about the people who are into it.
  • elfcrisis: Especially westerners.
  • charles-hickle: true
  • elfcrisis: My wife once said I was one anime wall scroll away from being a full on weeaboo.
  • elfcrisis: I brought up her intense interest in Overwatch fanfic and she was like, yeah okay you've got a point.
  • elfcrisis: ie. we're all intense nerds about something
  • charles-hickle: oh ya i have more then i care to say at times
  • SJTuckerMusic: :D nerdlife
  • Cheshire Moon: I'm not an intense nerd about anything!!
  • elfcrisis: I don't actually have any wall scrolls. I don't even have a Miku figurine so she's totally way off!
  • elfcrisis: c.c
  • SJTuckerMusic: I'm gonna sign off and go grab dinner and a Pokéstop, speaking of nerding. :) Y'all be good to yourselves, and thank you again!
  • elfcrisis: Thanks again, Sooj.
  • elfcrisis: Oyasumi!
  • elfcrisis: Er, good night!

Well, as usual, I loved it all. Starmaps and Bluebirds were big highlights for me. Absolutely stunning, both of them.

Seafaring Satyr almost made me cry. Something about your music just taps straight into my emotions.

More than made up for the technical difficulties of the last one. Three generations of my family and I love your music. I only wish you would put more stuff out in CD format.

What was your favorite part of the performance? I love that these live streams are available. Being able to see a concert from home is a real treat. There were some hiccups in the sound but it didnt distract from the wonderful singing and performance. Thank you so much for the opportunity to experience this with you.

Hi there! Come on in! I'm a song-slinging Mythpunk Pixie Bard living in the woods of Arkansas, with many, many years of touring, recording, and performing under my belt. Since I'm an indie artist, I don't necessarily have to exclude any of my song ideas because they don't fit my marketing. ;) This means you might hear me sing about current events one moment, a Steampunk murder ballad the next moment, something inspired by books like The Dresden Files after that, and rounding it out with a tune about Wendy & Peter Pan. We share what we love, and we make art out of the things that inspire us. Life's too short not to tell stories and share wild ideas. Let's do this!
