What was your favorite part of the performance? Really liked when Nick and Arthur were singing together, harmonizing. Sounded really good. Ought to record something together! Deb Conrad

What was your favorite part of the performance? Arthur Alligood's "I'm Coming Up Out of This Valley". This song puts words to where I'm at in life right now. Thanks for the in the middle of the night concert! I didn't have work this morning anyway, so I figured it'd be fun to watch. I was way to tired to write anything on the chat though (the concert was 2:30-4:00 am my time). Thanks for the music and the wittiness! I had fun, even with my eyes barely open.

“Like a shark attack with t-shirts in the back” Nick Flora belts with faux hubris in "Presence Of Greatness" the opening track from his sophomore release Hello Stranger. But like all good uses of hyperbole, there is a truth to the claim.

Hailing from Nashville, TN, the alterna-pop singer/songwriter is known for many things: weaving quick wit, turns of phrases, with elemental truths in song that cut to the core of the human condition, crafting a live performance that’s altogether intimate and unforgettable, and cultivating an online community of fans that have come to expect the unexpected.

Flora has been writing songs and touring with bands for close to a decade. He stepped out on his own in 2008 releasing his debut solo record Great Escape (2009) and the aforementioned follow-up Hello Stranger (2011); both prime examples of Flora’s grasp of dynamics, heart, and humor.

Flora’s latest release The Reintroduction Of Nick Flora boasts a bold step forward with a record full of anthems, stories, heartache, and of course, wit. "Fearless simplicity" seems to be Flora's modus operandi these days as he teams up with longtime producer Andrew Osenga (Caedmon's Call, JJ Heller, Jon Troast) for the third installment into the Nick Flora canon. "We asked ourselves what side of me have people not experienced and what would surprise old fans and interest new ones to taking a peek inside, then we got to work" Flora states about working with Osenga in the studio for The Reintroduction. "The ability to surprise people and yourself with what you're able to accomplish is something that never gets old. I love shattering expectation, painting myself into a corner then finding a side exit to get out. It keeps people interested and engaged, keeps it fun."

Between full length recordings, Flora released a trilogy of movie themed cover EPs entitled the Remake EPs for free on his website www.nickflora.com
