  • Bakersgirl: The 7 p.m. concert is not listed on concertwindow.com...how do we tip and get to see the concert slated for this evening 9/22/2018 since it's not available as a selection there?? Reply will be appreciated :-)
  • Richard L Walker: Any news on this supposed concert?
  • Bakersgirl: ???? EXCELLENT question!!
  • adobeinthepines@gmail.com: Waiting for the concert tonight?
  • Richard L Walker: 20 minutes from now?
  • Richard L Walker: It would be nice if those putting on a concert would learn to add it to the Concert Window schedule. Many venues wait until the very last second and THEN add it ... as if folks will magically turn up. Rant over.
  • Richard L Walker: I wonder if they are using Facebook Live ... or if they even have a clue what they are doing.
  • Bakersgirl: I cannot locate anything...happy and willing to "TIP" but not until the times are confirmed--one site said 7pm CST, another said 7:30 CST...
  • Richard L Walker: Actually two said 7:30 CST. I just went to their website and then their Facebook page. The poor folks have no clue what they are doing nor do they care.
  • Richard L Walker: I couldn't figure out how to find out what concerts are playing on Facebook Live but I'll keep trying that one.
  • Bakersgirl: Let me know, Richard L if you find out anything. I have sent a message via FB to them, but so far no reply...I have also begun to check FB Live...
  • Richard L Walker: If you find anything on Facebook Live let me know. I came up empty ... like here. Yet ... the concert goes on.
  • Bakersgirl: Yes, I see a snippet on FB from a FB Friend...it was "Live" 48 minutes ago, Richard L (nine minutes in length)
  • Richard L Walker: Crazy
  • Bakersgirl: Not a public post however...SMH
  • Richard L Walker: Well - guess I'll get back to my regularly scheduled programming. Later.
  • Bakersgirl: :-)
  • Bakersgirl: Hellooooo??? Anyone able to view this concert???
  • mando tipped $2!
  • Bakersgirl: mando, are you able to view the concert??

Canerod: Never got the feed. Another disappointing attempt using Concert Window. I only tipped $2 because I knew this was a possibility. Had the feed worked I would have added more $$. Monroe Mandolin Camp may keep my $2 for their efforts. del mute

Same thing happening Sep 22. Nada. You get this picture and chat ... but no concert. Also nothing that I could find on Concert Window. It seems like they have good intentions but no idea what to do to make it happen.

Hearing Mike play is always a treat. Hearing him play a few of the mandolins currently at Carter's Vintage Guitars was almost too much fun. R/

What was your favorite part of the performance? I especially liked the breakdown of "Poor White Folks." Good stuff!

What was your favorite part of the performance? Mike's playing, his tones and style are instantly recognizable and a real treat to hear as he slows things down and breaks the tune into manageable pieces. I vote for this to become a weekly or bi-weekly seminar for subscribers. Now that's a tuition bill I can look forward to paying.
