I truly enjoyed the way you connect with your audience and your beautiful uplifting spirit! Thank you for fulfilling my request for ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS YOU! I bought a concert ticket to support your wonderful musical talent! Kitty, my 21 year old cat, passed away last week! She was the sweetest pet one can have! Your concert helped cheer me up! God bless you in all your travels!

I only got to see three songs before my computer froze and never got it working again even with refresh. But I do love me some Levi and will get to see him live in Chicago. Can't wait!

If you’ve known Levi Kreis (pronounced krice) since his debut album, released on the heels of his television debut with NBC’s The Apprentice, then you know every stage of this man’s life has been chronicled through his albums. Each one reveals a new side to this singer/songwriter, taking you through a myriad of genres – piano pop, gospel, rockabilly, country, and jazz. Levi’s music has been featured in film and television shows including The Vampire Diaries, Sons of Anarchy, and So You Think You Can Dance. Seven albums have afforded Kreis impressive accolades – top ten positions on various charts, #1 music videos, national tours, TV appearances on The View, David Letterman, Jimmy Fallon and quite unexpectedly, a Tony Award for originating the role of Jerry Lee Lewis in Broadway’s Million Dollar Quartet. With a multi-talent like Kreis, it’s no wonder his impact has been broad and varied. But Kreis is now setting his sights on home. Americana.

Levi’s country and gospel sensibilities have found their way forward in previous recordings, along with his honky-tonk piano style, and has defined some of his best known songs including the Outmusic Award-winning single Stained Glass Window. No matter where he’s been in his musical journey, one thing was inevitable – Kreis would have to embrace his roots.

An East Tennessee native, Levi spent his youth mimicking the honky-tonk piano style of southern gospel music and idolizing country’s piano men. But Kreis confesses that everything he knows, he learned from Little Miss Dynamite, Brenda Lee. Traveling on her tour bus and studying her genius on stage and off, Kreis adopted Lee’s strong work ethic and classy reputation. But it was Brenda’s ability to have an audience in the palm of her hand that Kreis sought to make his own. By all accounts, Kreis succeeded. To this day Lee confesses, “I taught him everything he knows!”

Kreis learned from a legend. His charismatic live performances are his number one commodity, often described as Harry Connick Jr. meets Hugh Jackman. His musicianship is effortless. His southern humor will charm you. His vulnerability will move you. Years of exuberant reviews have dubbed Kreis the consummate performer.

Three new singles are slated for 2019 which infuses country, gospel, and honky-tonk into a sound that is definitively Americana and completely Levi Kreis.

*Other notable acting credits include Broadway’s Tony nominated revival Violet, the national tour of Rent, Smokey Joe’s Cafe, Pump Boys & Dinettes, and the films Frailty, Don’t Let Go, Slip Tumble and Slide, A Very Sordid Wedding, and The Divide.
