Bio

I, Case, was born "Casey," but growing up in the Bible Belt of Arkansas in the '80s, he cropped the "y" off... And that didn't REALLY help. He then went to a ballet boarding school in Lynchburg, Virginia (that's right: LYNCH-burg; where Jerry Falwell was set up in life. Decent question: why were there MEN in TIGHTS ANYWHERE NEAR Jerry Falwell?). He then got kicked out of the school... THAT'S a... more

THAT'S a story that changed everything. I moved back Arkansas, dropped ballet, went into musical theatre, went to Point Park University, and then moved to NYC. My FIRST job was as the White M.C. Hammer on the Conan O'Brien show, and next: the Original Broadway Cast of "Mary Poppins." Eventually, I was promoted to play the Dick Van Dyke part ("Bert") on the 2nd National Tour. I was fired for abuse of alcohol (we'll talk about that), moved home to Little Rock, and then got a Traumatic Brain Injury. (THAT'S ALSO a story.... Just wait.) Since then, I've been where A LOT of brain injuries end up: substance abuse rehabs, home shelters, a STATE HOSPITAL, and... yeah... jail. Great Heights and Low Lows. I've been on the institutional and medicinal roller coaster... something like 27 in 7 states (Mississippi, Arkansas, New York, Florida, Arizona, California, and Texas). I'm better NOW than I have been since I got kicked out of ballet boarding school, and for a NUMBER of reasons I will talk about. This show is for those who know (or THINK they know) my story. It's not officially intended as a money maker or for strangers. But I'm posting it on Facebook to make sure that those who WANT to see it, can. Having put people through what I have, I have NO expectation of them rushing to the line for the "Case Show." But I'm doing it to reconnect with my loved ones, and give them SOME level of understanding of me. Hope you join. Much love, Case..............
