Claire Roche is an enchanting ethereal singer harpist who has been performing concerts for over 30 years now. Fans say she sounds like Loreena McKennitt, Kate Bush, Bjork at times, and even Eartha Kitt. Based in Blackrock, Co. Dublin, Claire first learned harp at school through the same teacher as Mary O'Hara. Her songs today are passionate, otherworldly, sometimes bluesy and accompanied by a 19th century gothic peddle harp or Galway made Irish harp, or both. Add to that very entertaining stories and warm intimate welcome.
