Wood & Wire is Caleb's album featuring all original music and showcasing his skills on multiple instruments including Pedal Steel Guitar and Harmonica. Written through a season of life changing events that sparked songs about love both lost and found and hard times; while giving a loving reminder that it gets better. "In the span of about a year my whole life as I knew it fell apart" Caleb relates that a painful car accident coupled with a failed relationship left him rebuilding his life as he struggled to recover and heal his pain wracked body.
Through all the events Caleb wrote the songs and honed his craft farther before joining Ashley Peacock in the studio to record Wood & Wire at Cathedral Sound Studio’s in Cincinnati Ohio. "The things we have today... They just don't feel the same" Caleb sings about the tried and true while asking the audience to think about the disposable life thats become a modern reality. "Nothing's wrong with tried and true" he sings as he picks his guitar and skillfully plays through a familiar chord progression that would make Woody Guthrie smile.
