You guys are wonderful! I always enjoy listening to you perform, the online concert was a nice idea for those of us who can't always make it to your gigs. Loved the nonchalant attitude, it really makes it that much more entertaining and personable. There were some audio issues when you guys sang loudly, but other than that it was great. Keep it up!

This was my first experience with an online concern, and I loved it! The convenience of watching from home was very nice. And the music was awesome (which was no surprise to me)! This group of musicians is remarkable, with superior harmonies and instrumentals. I have always been a huge fan, and will continue to follow this band wherever life leads them. Great work!!!

Awesome Distraction has been together for over 4 years. Originally formed by Nick Veine (19) and Kyle Garber (19) from Manistee, they have continued to impress audiences with their harmonies and musicianship. Joining them in 2013 was Chloe Kimes (17) from Scottville who added her own flavor to the group with her wonderful high harmony as well as her excellent songwriting. They truly make up an Awesome Distraction.

Already having 2 CDs under their belt, they have entertained audiences with their own twist on cover songs infusing them with an acoustic sound making them their own. While they do covers, they have also produced a CD ("Humbly Yours") with most of their original work.

The versatility they add with guitar, mandolin, banjo, ukulele, harmonica, violin and cajon help to emphasize the great sound. Opening for Joel Mabus (renowned folk singer) and Ryan Whyte Maloney (from "The Voice") have been just a few highlights in their budding career.
