Over the past few years, Chuck Fleming has been enjoyably active in the Austin music community. While playing drums for local favorites, "The Lonesome Heroes," and writing and performing songs for his supporting role in "Brother Machine," Fleming managed to find the time to release his first album, "Living Like We Please," in the fall of 2008, with the help of Seth Gibbs (Bobby Jealousy, Brother Machine), Producer/Engineer at Superpop Records.

With his desire to cultivate songs that are lyrically intricate and melodically warm, Fleming is always excited about his growing collection, and in the summer of 2010, he released "Tones For Headphones",a free, downloadable, 3 song EP available at chuckfleming.bandcamp.com.

You can listen to Chuck Fleming on Pandora, Spotify, Itunes, and his music is for sale on the web and at shows.

"Chuck Fleming's lyrics are paired well with upbeat rhythms and melodies so to provide an infectious, warm feeling, and an awareness of hope, encouragement, and self-empowerment.

This is clear in "Forsaken By My Dreams," "Living Like We Please," and the groovy fan-favorite, "Looking Up At The Sky." Whether writing about exclusive and personal relationships, or the interaction that all people have within a dichotomous world where right battles wrong, yes v. no, good v. evil, positive v. negative, he focuses on the ability, or inability, to just "be," and seeks freedom from such oppressive and competitive forces.

His understanding of this world is an ever-evolving examination of such mysteries. If there is one thing he has concluded, these are not separate entities, but yet an holistic, all-encompassing, everyday experience.

He challenges his listener to do something positive. Feel positive... and press play."

Chuck Fleming is currently recording new songs. The single, "Losing Anna" is set for release, Summer 2013, and will include a bonus track, "I Want To Fight You" with special guest producer, Brother Machine.
