Another fine show from this amazing trio! I am constantly surprised at how much great music comes out of three voices and a guitar! The band looked like they were having fun, which increased audience enjoyment, for me anyway. The sound and video were excellent.

Good overall audio quality, low res video. Uncle Bonzai was funny, entertaining, and I would definitely love to hear another LIVE concert.

Let me preface this by saying that I'm a fan of Uncle Bonsai, but have only seen them live and in person once before. I've also seen several Concert Window concerts, all of which were done exclusively for Concert Window. I found this concert very disappointing. It was held as a house concert, and the hostess took up quite a bit of time before the musicians came on. Surely she could have done this before the official start of the concert, leaving time for a brief introduction of the musicians. The camera was oriented oddly, so that those of us viewing via Concert Window were sort of peering in from a bad perspective. Then, the hostess for the event (not the performers) asked the CW attendees whether we had any requests. She did this without checking with the performers about whether they'd be entertaining requests. Then, when she relayed the requests, the group was quite dismissive of the requests, as though we'd been quite rude in asking. It never would have occurred to me to make a request otherwise. So, instead of enjoying the event, I felt like an intruder. If you do wish to broadcast more concerts from this particular house concert venue (she seems to hold these regularly), I hope you'll send these comments along. (Also, I've hosted house concerts, so I have quite an understanding of how it works.)

Loved it. So so clever and entertaining as always.

It was great to hear all the Doug songs together—including one or two I'd almost forgotten, and two we'd never heard before! I hope Uncle Bonsai will do more concerts on ConcertWindow.

Everything we've come to expect from an Uncle Bonsai concert -- inspiring harmonies, guitar virtuosity, twisted and hilarious banter, songs we know and love by heart, and new "instant classics." So glad we could "be there" from 2500 miles away!

The trio's influences range from the Beatles to Stephen Sondheim. Some say Zappa cross-bred with Peter, Paul and Mary. Loudon Wainwright III, the Roches. Three tightly tiered and adhered voices, acoustic guitar. That's it. Nearly naked folk-pop for everyone.

We HIGHLY recommend watching another Concert Window show before watching our concert. Every computer is different. Some take a bit more fussing around with than others, so to be sure you are up and running and do not miss a single note, check out another Concert Window show or two and get those settings all polished up and ready to go.
