Really liked the lyrics—lots of potential as a songwriter. Thought the vocals were maybe bit strained (computer speakers?), particularly by the second set. Backup vocals definitely helped. Had a chance to preview the new CD on ITunes. As expected, the overall audio quality was significantly better. Amazing what a difference studio recording sessions make. Britt, hope you continue with recording and club dates, at least around the region. Guessing it will be a while before you make it out west on tour—especially here in Victoria, BC...

Singer/Songwriter Britt Connors was born and raised singing in small-town West Boylston, MA before taking her studies to Ithaca College in NY. But, the lure of the talented Boston singer/songwriter scene and the thought that she may someday try her hand at songwriting brought her to Boston in 2001. "Warmer Season" is her second album, a follow-up to to her acclaimed 2010 debut “The Bad Side of Good," released under her maiden name of Britt Sawdon. Britt's latest album includes her original tunes that are alternately rockin', country, sweet, rootsy, New-Orleans-street-parade-style, or just plain fun. With its clapping, foot-stomping, and even some whistling, the record could be said to belong in its own category of "Y'all-Ternative" music. Britt’s current working band, "Bourbon Renewal," is comprised of some of Boston’s most in-demand musicians, including John Funkhouser on keys, Greg Loughman/Ed Lucie on bass, Andrew Stern on guitars, and Mike Connors on drums.
