The last song was a grand finale and the absolute best! I like your performance clothing and stage presence. You demonstrate a lot of heart. And, that note you sustained in "Left My Heart in San Francisco" was outstanding! It left me out standing. LOL Good show, Dean! tracy pinnisch

Dean Johnson: singing pianist, Crooner Dean

Dean's first venture into entertainment was at the age of 10 after filling out a newspaper coupon to enter the Minnesota State Fair Amateur Talent contest, with the "Maple Leaf Rag".

Dean has built a reputation with Activities Directors around the Twin Cities for putting together programs of songs and stories that keep the rapt attention of a room full of Seniors for a full hour at a stretch! And these are people who have heard it all and know what they like.

A Crooner Dean show may span the "Glen(n)s"... from a feel-good Glenn Miller swing ... to a gritty Glen Campbell country ballade.

At their core, Crooner Dean's shows are audio portraits of a special "Greatest" American generation, illustrated in popular song - songs which, when brought to life in a live performance, remain a surprisingly reliable stimulus to an audience's collective memories, hopes and dreams. People who hear music from their prime of life are always express gratitude.
