      The silence twixt each tune letting the song sink in thoroughly is very cool. Also having the opportunity to have audience & performers transact without hecklers nor whooping over-the-top "fans" of pavlovian response muck about.

      Thank you for your email regarding this concert. It's the first time I've seen Mark perform with you. It's also the first time I've seen you live, though cyberspace in quite a while. I thoroughly enjoyed hearing the between song chat about the music, the cause behind it the folks requesting and those just saying Hi! I'll see you in August, I hope. My brother is going to be a grandfather!

Rod MacDonald & Mark Dann have been playing guitar and bass together since 1976, and have recorded 10 of Rod's 11 cds of his own songs, and done 35 tours in Europe. They appear in tandem in most of Rod's northeast US concerts as well. This concert will be broadcast from Mark's studio in Woodstock, using professional mikes and equipment.
