That statement is clearly understood being the daughter of legendary Multi-Grammy Award winning Motown Funk Brother Keyboardist Johnny Griffith. He was one of the original Funk Brothers who played on such hits as "Stop in the Name of Love", "Ain't No Mountain High Enough", "I Heard it Through the Grapevine", "What's Going On", "Shot Gun" and "Dancin' in the Streets". Beth was born with drive, stamina, determination, beauty and brains (she holds a B.S in Business and Information Systems) and music is in her blood; it's in her DNA, and it's very clear that she's making her mark ! Singer, songwriter, actress and voice over talent, Beth's versatility puts her in a class of her own.

Beth's interest in music started around the age of 5, while learning to play the piano, following in the footsteps of her father. Her interest in singing did not start until around the age of 12 when she started singing in junior high school. That interest grew in high school and continued to grow even stronger. Her vocals were coached and nurtured by Cheryl Valentine (Beaubien Jr. High) and then by Deirdre Jackson-Thompson, notable teacher and director at Mumford High School who also taught and mentored members of the Winan's family, the Clark sisters and members of famed gospel group Commissioned.

During Beth's vocal career as a lead and background singer, she has been in the company of many great artists. Beth sang an inspiring and timeless duet with the late Ollie Woodson, legendary singer for the Temptations, which was made into a video for the Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund. The song entitled "Reach Out Everyone", was written by famed author Mitch Albom, Brian and Mark Pastoria (Harmonie Park Music), Billy Wilson, and producer / arranger Michael J. Powell with the arrangement done by Motown legends Paul Riser and Johnnie Allen. She has also graced the stage as a background and featured lead vocalist at a "Tribute to Motown" at Carnegie Hall in New York. For that historic event, Beth shared the stage with Dionne Warwick, Martha Reeves, Melba Moore, Boyz II Men, Dennis Edwards, Bebe Winans, Paul Shaffer and Anita Baker. This amazing sold-out concert was produced and directed by Ray Chew, Music Director for American Idol.

Beth has provided background vocals for Grammy Award winning gospel singer Yolanda Adams' Christmas album entitled "What A Wonderful Time" ,Rock-n-Roll HOF Dave Mason's project entitled "26 Letters, 12 Notes" on a selection entitled "How Do I Get to Heaven", and two projects by KEM entitled, "What Christmas Means" and "Promise To Love". She has also toured with 8 time-Grammy Award winning songstress Anita Baker as a background vocalist performing all over the world in some of the most prestigious venues in the world, including the Royal Albert Hall in London, Radio City Music Hall in New York, and arenas in South Africa, Nigeria, Trinidad and throughout the Caribbean.
Beth is honored to have performed for Donald Trump, President Bill Clinton and the Michigan Inaugural Balls held in Washington D.C. for President Barack Obama's 1st and 2nd terms.

In addition to being an exceptional vocalist, Beth has had several acting roles; among them stage (Church Girl, Chosen) and film (Five Year Engagement, This Must Be The Place) productions and numerous television / radio commercials. Also, Beth has provided her voice to the 'behind-the-scenes' aspect of television. She has been a vocalist for the television show "Glee Project" that aired on the OWN Network in 2012 and background vocals for "American Bible Challenge" (Season I,II & III) that airs on GSN (Game Show Network). Her most memorable moment was being cast as the stand-in and body-double for Whitney Houston in the remake of the 1976 classic "Sparkle" that was filmed in Detroit.
