Sue G. Wilkinson is an independent musician based in Atlanta, Georgia who specializes in not one, but two musical genres: Groove Pop and Rockin’ R&B. This Atlanta diva brings you trance-like and highly melodic music... powered by breathtaking vocals that could only be categorized as one of a kind.
Pulsating piano, keyboards and stunning vocals are the vehicles that will take you on a hair-raising ride, moving you up and down and all the way through.
Sue has played all over the world, including Europe and Japan. She has opened up for many artists like Pearl Jam, Indigo Girls, Red Hot Chilipeppers, Bob Weir, and Acoustic Alchemy, and is also a recipient of an International Telly Award for her film compositions.
She is also the voice behind a musical collaboration with film scorer, bassist, and recording artist, Patrick O'Hearn. A Grammy award winner, his electronic-based instrumental music is considered to be the foundation behind the ambient musical movement, not to mention the modern synthesized orchestral sound heard in today's film scores.
Also heard here are several cuts from Sue's alternative groove blues project. London's Time Out says, "Hugely enjoyable pounding, stomping, riffing, rough-hewn, piano-driven R&B from the soulful and bluesy Wilkinson, ripping it up all the way from Atlanta, Georgia."
