Gathering Time was great. The video quality was never really good. Often choppy and cut out a lot. The sound was okay, but nothing like hearing them in person. There was a lot of distortion. Still very worth hearing.

Gathering Time was wonderful. There were multiple technical problems esp. at the start of the concert. During much of the concert there was a "Max Headroom" thing going on. I'm sure with time these technical problems will be worked out, with time.

I give it ONE STAR because of ALL THE TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES. The sound was horrible, the video was choppy and froze several times and then just stopped. Embarraing for them I'm sure. IF the difficulties were YOUR fault then you should be ashamed because Gathering Time delivers a polished musical performance and to be handled with such technical incompetence can certainly tarnish their reputation. Sorry to be so harsh, but your not dealing with a garage act. And, to make matters worse, I invited serveral friends who I'm sure were not impressed. Think of the potential money Gathering Time lost due to YOUR webcast which is something that can not be recovered, even though, in the end, the webcast was successfully completed. As a fan, there isn't anything a 3rd party can do to hurt their appeal to me. But, as of now, my opinion of Concert Window is a THUMBS DOWN. HOWEVER, I'd be very interested to hear what YOU have to say about their/your webcast. What happened? Howard Marks enhowsail@aol.com

Voted best band runner-up (and top folk band) in the 2011 Long Island Press readers' poll, Gathering Time is like a high-energy Peter, Paul & Mary or a co-ed Crosby, Stills & Nash, with a bit of The Byrds and a jot of Joni Mitchell; a head-turning folk-rock harmony trio described recently as "getting a whole beehive-full of buzz" on the northeast regional folk scene.

The trio's current release, "When One Door Closes..." wa #3 on the Folk DJ chart for January, 2014. In August, 2013, they played the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival's main stage as one of three "most wanted" from the previous summer's Emerging Artists Showcase, out of 24 who played (and over 100 who applied). They had a formal showcase at the 2011 Northeast Regional Folk Alliance (NERFA) conference.

Founded in 2006 by Stuart Markus, Glen Roethel, and Hillary Foxsong, Gathering Time quickly became a fan favorite. The trio has strong roots in traditional folk as well as '60s and '70s folk-rock, and they've been known to sprinkle in some of those classics among their original sets.

In March 2013 Stuart and Hillary were joined by Long Island folk luminary Gerry McKeveny. Gerry brings a mellow tenor and unparalleled guitar wizardry to the lineup, and both the band and longtime fans of the trio are excited to move into Gathering Time's next era.
