I was unable to get a connection. Just got a message saying the show would start soon, but it never did. I like the idea a lot though and look forward to the bugs getting ironed out...

Music as traditional as traditional gets, no fuzz or fanciness, just solid and swinging dance music the way they were brought up with it in Denmark, mainly the island Fanø. Ole Mouritzen (accordion and mandolin), Jens Mouritzen (snare drum and mandolin), Malene D. Beck (Piano and double bass) and Tove de Fries (fiddle, dancing) are here with a group of young musicians “Fanø Fiddlers” (8 kids between 12 – 15), who besides playing traditional Danish music, have “adopted” the Cape Breton music as their second language.
Andrea Beaton and Troy MacGillivray have been mentors to the Fanø Fiddlers and have spent time on Fanø sharing their culture, and taking back with them a bit of the Danish culture. Enjoy this fusion of two powerful traditions!
