Recording engineer and croaker/songwriter, FX, has (by the looks of him) several centuries of experience as a musician and recording studio owner. He is writing this bio for kicks so that he can see if it's the CW interface, the compression that allows this amazing medium to exist or mixing failures at the venues that is/are the cause of the constant (and annoying) audio clipping that nearly every show exhibits. I know how to record with enough headroom to keep that from happening, but so many shows are ruined by the excessive source volume levels that distort the sound of truly gifted artists to the point that I am about to chuck CW entirely. This will probably come off as a thankless "Whaddaya want for a buck?" whine, but I just have to find out where the problem(s) is/are. I think I know the answer, but there is nothing quite like empirical data.
