Hey Emily, nice session Sunday, but watch out—your father nearly stole the show! A bit of context (hang on…) First heard of you and saw you perform on one of your solo acoustic CW shows earlier this year. Loved the vocals, but thought they sounded kind of “thin” without any backing. Fast forward to Alive, in Love. Downloaded a copy of what was then your most recent album, and was blown away by both the vocals and the high-energy sound. As for last night, thought that having your Dad accompany on keyboards worked really well. Was only half-joking in suggesting that the two of you should record a studio album together (crowd-source funding??)…Nice selection of material. Covers are always a bit of a risk, but really enjoyed your versions of I Will and The Wind Cried Mary. Also the jazz guitar work on both, as well—added another dimension to the sound. Too bad about the sound problems, but worth putting up with given the quality of the show. Would love it if you (two) could get access to a studio some time for another live-streamed show, if it would help with the sound…. And by the way, any plans (hope, hope) to tour around the Pacific Northwest? Anyhow, sure you’ve got a great future ahead of you—all the best, and hope to hear you again SOON! :)

Great Concert! Emily and her father played some wonderful music. Sound was pretty distorted in the beginning but with feedback from the audience they got that under control. They are both extremely talented musicians. I love listening to Emily's original tunes and her interpretation of the classics.
