Rusty & Laurie Wright are Billboard Top 10 recording artists whose sound is a hot rod fusing of Texas and Chicago-style blues, swinging boogie & Southern rock, and a pinch of Motor City grit. The couple's and they also perform regionally as a duo.

Since forming The Rusty Wright Band in 2004 Rusty & Laurie Wright have reached a global audience with five acclaimed albums of original works, a syndicated PBS concert, performances at top blues events across three continents and induction into the Blues Hall of Fame® as a Master Blues Artist.

Their band's most recent album "Wonder Man" reached #8 on the Billboard Blues Charts, #3 on the Hit Tracks Top 100, stayed in the Top 5 for several months on Jambands.com. "Wonder Man" was also nominated for Album of the Year by Vintage Guitar Magazine, (along with Jeff Beck, Joe Bonamassa, David Gilmore and Sonny Landreth) and Best Contemporary Blues Album by Blues 411. The song "Gonna Come a Day" (from the Wonder Man album) was also a top finalist in the Blues category in last year's International Songwriting Competition.

Rusty and Laurie began performing together in 1998, married in 2001, and formed The Rusty Wright Band in 2004. The full band's lineup includes bassist Nic Nickerson and drummer Dean Lopes, but Rusty & Laurie also welcome duo performance opportunities because it allows their songs and the stories behind them to shine in the warmth of an intimate setting.

They will be performing tunes from their extensive catalog of music, including songs from their Billboard Top 10 album “Wonder Man.”

Originally from Flint, Michigan Rusty, Laurie and their band is now based in Winter Haven, Florida.
