With her debut album Paint, Clay, and Other Mediums, released in March of 2012, made with producer and musician Bret Alexander at Saturation Acres Recording Studio in Dupont, PA, she says the recording process has opened up a new understanding of what she wants to accomplish as an artist. She hopes to be as prolific as time and fortune will allow.

Paint blends a wide spectrum of styles, each song quite varied from the next, and includes musicians from all different backgrounds. You get a clear sense of an artist on the brink of a sound that is still emerging, evolving, and constantly taking shape.

And shortly after releasing Paint, the concept of Dylan Jane and the Turning Leaves was born, a name meant to feature a collective of friends, studio musicians, and bandmates contirbuting to the sound, the nature of which is variegated and ever-changing from song to song and record to record.

In September of 2013, Dylan released the first of a series of demo style acoustic records called The Songbook Project. Chapter One of the project, produced by friend and musician Steve Gilliland, is a departure from her first studio album with its natural and stripped-down vibe intended to establish a more valid representation of her everyday live sound.

In October of 2013 she set out on her first tour that took her from West Virginia to Louisiana playing in some of the South's coolest cafes and listening rooms. In that same month she was named Artist of the Month by MyRuralRadio.com, an independent Internet community based in Lancaster, PA.

Returning home to Pennsylvania to continue her musical journey, she was voted Deli Magazine's Artist of the Month in Philadelphia for December by her friends, fans, and peers. She is currently focusing on finishing her next group of recordings to release in 2014.
