Mark Stepakoff:
Dubbed “Boston’s biggest songwriting secret” by Boston indi-music paper The Noise and “deserving of being a national folk figure” by Performing Songwriter Magazine, singer-songwriter Mark Stepakoff recently released his fourth CD, “The Story Behind The Story". The CD features Mark's trademark mix of wry humorous material and poignant ballads, in the vein of songwriters such as Loudon Wainwright III and John Prine, to whom he has often been compared. The CD climbed to number 17 on the national folk radio airplay chart and its lead track, “You Either Get It Or You Don’t”, was the 10th most played song on folk radio for the month of September. Six of the CD's twelve songs have already won awards from national songwriting contests, including First Prize in The Great American Song Contest and American Songwriter Magazine’s Lyric Contest. On his new CD Mark is backed by some of New England’s finest musicians, including acclaimed songwriter-musician Mark Erelli and guitar legend Duke Levine.

Susan Levine:
“She can break your heart and lift your soul from the wreckage within one smartly crafted moment in one of her songs.” (Tom Driscoll, The Red Door Coffeehouse). Susan Levine has been compared to Dolly Parton and Emmylou Harris, but her voice is uniquely her own. Her music is a poetic blend of folk, Americana, pop and country, and has garnered awards and performances at national festivals and venues throughout the Northeast. Her most recent recording, “Atlas” (2007), received airplay around the world, and was described in the Boston Herald as “That rare album where a whole mind and heart are revealed.”
