What The quality of the sound was off - could not hear the music but not a word of what Tink was saying and only a portion of what Joziah said. Music was awesome though.

What was your favorite part of the performance? Enjoyed hearing the new tunes and the special guests. Future suggestion: have a streaming sound check ($$). For your constructive critical fans. Might help to work out the audio mix and sound issues. Good to see the Tribe leaders. Always pumps me up. Great South Philly weekend!!!

QUOTES:
“Songs that rival any in a rich, intensely original, defiantly quirky canon." - Elmore Magazine.
"The Hudson River Valley's best kept secret."- JamBase.com.
"9 out of 10 - Love at first spin!" – Americana UK
"They're not just a band, that's like saying the Bible is just a book..." - Fairfield County Weekly.
"Soothing and bewitching as a snake oil tonic,
the entire root system of Rock Family Trees is embedded in Longo's voice." – The Big Issue, Scotland, UK
"Songs imbued with mystical stirrings and idealism... they take the stage by storm!" – The NY Times
"Super and Natural... I love this band!" - WXPN Philadelphia
“A riveting, mesmerizing, crazy, amazing machine of music." – Chronogram Magazine, NY
“Great songs and a whole lotta heart” – Meg Griffin, SiriusXM

”Mightily impressive and hugely original rock from the cool end of Americana" – Maverick Mag, UK. This Hudson Valley band has an exotic instrumental arsenal and songs ranging from dusty Americana ballads to huge Pink Floydesque cinematic anthems.

Formed in Sleepy Hollow, New York over a decade ago, the Slambovians pioneered the now huge Americana genre while staying on the fringes of the music industry. Winning support from indie radio and press from the outset, it is the fans that have fueled their career to international status. Their fiercely independent selves present not only quirky Americana and Zen-like anthems, but a universe entirely of their own making. Likened to an array of artists including the Waterboys, Jethro Tull, The Decemberists, a quirkier Tom Petty. Their "dusty Americana ballads" evoke Dylan, Cracker, or the Wallflowers. The Slambovians charm from the first note - led by visionary songwriter Joziah Longo.
