"Music is a release. Whether it’s being heard, or played, music is ultimately an expression of emotion. So I write my music to connect with other people, to have them feel they can relate to the story behind the song. All throughout my life I’ve felt devastatingly attached to all my musical heroes, mainly because of the emotional connections I’ve felt towards certain songs. Subsequently I’ve spent the last 10 years of my life writing music in the hopes that my own personal heartbreaks and triumphs could be put into a relatable combination of words and chords. To me, music is the most important thing in the world; it’s one of the only things that can stand the test of time. As long as there are people, there will be music. Lyrics and songs will be remembered, and I’d love to contribute to the human race’s musical memory."
