SHANE: Chicago-based multi-instrumentalist and songwriter, his wide-ranging collaborations include work with Field Report, Sara and Sean Watkins (Nickel Creek), Ben Sollee, MIT's Gamelan Galak Tika and Berklee College of Music's Ensemble Robot, among others. ALEC: Brooklyn-based singer, composer, arranger, & multi-instrumentalist specializing in woodwinds. He performs his own songs and arrangements with Cuddle Magic, Baby States, Ronald Reagan - Boston's Premier 80's Pop Saxophone Duo, among other groups. And he's written arrangements for, recorded with, and/or performed with, The David Wax Museum, Josh Ritter, Amanda Palmer, Anais Mitchell, Miss Tess, Rebecca Loebe, Rachel Ries, White Hinterland, PHOX, and Kristin Andreassen, among many others. www.alecspiegelman.com

ANNA: multi-media artist curious about how stories, sounds & sights create place. A fiddler, guitarist and singer, she collaborates primarily with Appalachian ballad singer Elizabeth LaPrelle, with whom she creates scrolling crankie artworks and shadow puppets, tours the country and hosts The Floyd Radio Show; they are working on their second album, which features Alice Gerrard. She recently completed a fellowship sponsored by Bang On A Can and the State Department, creating new music with 24 musicians from 17 nations. www.annaandelizabeth.com
