I thought it was amazing. We watched the entire show and donated money. Very enjoyable. I would love to see them do it again.

The Honeyrunners are a modern consequence of music alchemy; rock & roll mixed with the raw soul of a Motown band and the brashness of 90’s punk. The Honeyrunners are a modern consequence of music alchemy; rock & roll mixed with the raw soul of a Motown band and the brashness of 90’s punk. This year saw the release of "EP 2" (Aug 5 via Fontana North), which garnered airplay in almost every U.S. state and hit the college charts in Canada after a debut performance on CTV Canada AM of the album's first single, "Under Control". 2014 has opened doors that will inevitably lead this band down a path they have sought out since teenagehood.

In the two years since their inception, The Honeyrunners have shared stages with The Balconies, U.S.S., King Khan & BBQ Show, Head of the Herd, Gino Washington & more. They recruited Jeff Heisholt (The Trews, The Skydiggers, Peter Elkas) to play B3 on "EP 2", recorded at Toronto's coveted Phase One Studios.

2013 saw the band’s first single, “Jet Set”, featured in an international Bacardi campaign, followed by "My Garage", a hook-filled love letter dedicated to their stomping grounds and adopted by Coca-Cola’s music project, "52 Songs of Happiness". The placements garnered attention and The Honeyrunners followed suit in DIY fashion with three Canadian tours, two appearances on Canada AM, radio play across North America and 200+ gigs to earn their keep. In short, the band doesn’t sleep much and it seems to do the trick.
