Was born in1964 in Kongsberg in Norway. his life with a handicap and growing shorter than average was a bit complicated and troubled, especially in his teens and in his early 20's.
Music had an important role in his life,
He got his first guitar when he was twelve and started out writing songs with 2 and 3 cords.

Music had an important role in his life,
He got his first guitar when he was twelve and started out writing songs with 2 and 3 cords.
Mick Jagger once said that rock 'n roll is 3 cords and energy. In 1993 Olé made his first trip to the US and Canada, he crossed the Atlantic chasing his dream.

He ended up in Toronto and Minneapolis, in Mpls he met his first label guy Tim Bradach, who later signed him up for a 3 CD contract, now he´s got 8 albums out and he has also become a GRAMMY voting member.
Olé Ask has travled many cities in America from Toronto in the north to San Antonio in the south, from New York on the east coast to Los Angeles on the west coast,
and in between cities like Philladelphia, Austin, Houston, Minneapolis, and San Francisco and more, featuring a lot of musicians on his way.

Olé is Norwegian by heritage, but he´s been traveling and worked his music in the US for more than 20 years.
For the time being he lives in Lolland in south of Denmark

Olé Ask has featured great musicians from his idols, like The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Pink Floyd, Tom Petty, Neil Young, Stevie Nicks, Rod Stewart, Lou Reed, David Bowie etc. etc.
Kisses and Cool Water is Olé Ask’s 20th anniversary album as a recording artist, The album was basically recorded at Sugar Hill in Houston Texas, he also features musicians from Los Angeles and Minneapolis.
