Moonflower Quartet is an all-female ensemble that specializes in vocal harmony, unique instrumentation, and arrangements of original and cover love songs.

Elizabeth Suggs is a singer songwriter who has lived in Austin for the past 10 years. She has been singing with the Austin Family Jewels for about the same time. She loves making beautiful harmonies with the amazing women in the Moonflower Quartet. She has a big love for old country music. When she is not making music, she is a mother of two and a wife of one and works in Montessori education.

Kendra Kinsey has been singing since she knew words! Choir, voice lessons, mandolin fell away for a while when art became her main method of self expression. Kendra came back to music all of a sudden when she met some lovely ladies (Linky!) and discovered she knew how to harmonize and oh what fun! And then a rainbow lightbulb appeared over her head and she wrote her first song. Along came the ukulele – it was love at first sight. Art and music are friends who inspire each other.

Merilee Phillips is a cellist, artist, jewelry maker, and mommy. In her spare time, she likes to hike, swim, daydream, and sip tea. Most recently, she has played with Holly Mae and the Painted Room and Chicago band Shalloboi. She’s very excited to be making sweet music with the Moonflower Quartet. She lives in San Antonio with her husband, son, and two kitties.

Linky Barmore has always enjoyed music, but she discovered the magic of singing while healing from an injury in Hawaii ten years ago. She joined The Austin Family Jewels shortly after and began playing the washboard and singing harmony. As her love for song grew, she collaborated in more projects and obtained a degree in music therapy and percussion. Linky owns a music therapy private practice and she lives with her wonderful husband and daughter in San Marcos. Playing with the ladies of Moonflower Quartet brings her huge joy.
