Watching for Foxes is a folk rock band from Grand Rapids, MI. Often compared to industry icons Fleet Foxes. Trampled by Turtles and The National, Watching for Foxes is a burgeoning Midwest talent that is already a national touring band while also supporting national acts like Sainseneca and Wild Child, as well as Larry and His Flask and Roadkill Ghost Choir. Only 8 short months in to their existence, this band seems destined for big things. All band's members were born and raised in West Michigan, with all but Olivia Mainville hailing from small-town Fremont, and the rural roots that run deep and yearn for more are ever prevalent in the group's songwriting. Their debut EP "The Watchmen", released on May 19th, boasts a transcendent sound, driven by diverse acoustic guitar, stirring lyrics and vocals, haunting harmonies, and a heartbeat established by foot-stomping percussion. All-in-all, Watching for Foxes creates a passionate and striking sound that you won't forget.
