Max provided an entertaining show. Very personable and fun! It would be nice to be able to leave comments using Concert Window on a mobile device. But can't wait for Max's next performance.

Max grew up in the small town of Hays, Kansas. His interest in music started around age 12, when he joined his middle school band as a percussionist. When he got into high school, Max joined the marching and concert band, as well as the chamber choir. At graduation, Max was awarded several music scholarships to Fort Hays State University, where he joined the Tiger Marching Band and majored in music. During this time, Max taught himself guitar and piano, and quickly realized that what he really wanted to do was write his own music and perform. Max then put together a band, Last Man Trying (LMT), with a couple of friends. They spent the next few years performing around town; cover songs as well as original music written by Max.
After some time, Max began performing solo. He recorded his first ep, Rain Days, at Studio 1117 in Salina, KS. With the release of that ep, Max headlined at the Salina Riverfest in the summer of 2013. That fall, Max moved to Nashville and met Shay Watson, who produced his second ep, Songs We Don't Know. This ep was geared towards soundtrack music, and was submitted to several studio and movie production groups.
Max is now represented by Darwin Moody and Embassy Music, Inc. He has been busy writing new material and touring around Tennessee, with plans for a tri-state tour and a third ep in the future.
