Great concert you guys. I loved the musicanship and arrangements. Great harmonies by Amy in particular. Emilie's amazing voice was in fine form, and the songs were top notch; especially the ones by that Russell Clepper guy.

Emilie Clepper has traveled in multiple worlds of time and place throughout her life and creates music that provides a deep, universal connection. A citizen of both the United States and Canada, her music is steeped in the green forests and long winters of her native Quebec, the endless, flat plains of her father's Texas and the many roads between. Montreal's La Presse has called Emilie Quebec's best kept secret, but she won't be a secret much longer.

She has opened for Martha Wainwright and Feist and has been a repeat performer at the Montreal Jazz Festival, the prestigious Festival d'Été in Quebec City and the Festival Pully-Quebec in Switzerland. In Texas, she has played for the Kerrville Folk Festival staff concerts and was invited by Texas singer songwriter legend Tish Hinojosa to accompany her on her main stage performance.

With her third release, Texas Eagle EP, Emilie believes she has found her true style and voice. Working once again with highly talented Montreal producer and musician Joe Grass, this EP presents a young artist who has matured into a formidable songwriting force and a star performer.

Her roots in music are sunk deep into the folk and roots tradition she heard almost every day growing up listening to her father, Texas singer songwriter Russell Clepper. Yet she has created her own style within that genre, and traveled her own roads to earn the accolades she has garnered. From the streets of Quebec City to the desert highways of the Southwest to the underground, gritty music scene in Austin's back alley dives, Emilie Clepper has searched for her own, authentic self, has found it, and is taking it back out on the road.
