What was your favorite part of the performance? The music Is the reason to watch, but I did enjoy that it was outdoors and that people were actually there watching the performance. It felt like a nice gathering :)

Lovely show. I loved your version of Country Roads. It has me missing my WV home from here in Nashville.

That was such a wonderful show, such great audio (no breaks at all!), and the perfect length, IMO. It's terribly easy to tip on Concert Window, holy cow! I would've hesitated at a $5 cover at a bar (which is stupid, I know, but I think it's the association of bar=free entry that makes me feel this way), but I can tip double that in a heartbeat and it just feels like the right thing to do. :)

Chelsea McBee has been filling the valleys and mountains of West Virginia with down home, soul stirring tunes for years. Along with her Random Assortment, the group has gained noticeable popularity with their creative interpretation of traditional music paired with the unique sounds of claw-hammer style banjo. Their music has been described anywhere from folk, americana to newgrass/jazzgrass. "Chelsea McBee's style of voice plays wonderfully into her roots-sounding mantra, all while maintaining her loyalty to a clear country music-bred background. Or, in other words, think about what it would be like if Nora Jones and Dolly Parton could have a daughter and that daughter just happened to grow up in West Virginia." -Colin McGuire, Frederick News Post. "...a blend of Millennial-influenced Appalachian roots tunes with some “trad” bluegrass thrown in, and a solid shot of Americana storytelling. McBee’s earthy vocals and banjo are complemented well by The Random Assortment." -Steve Chase, WV Observer. - See more at: http://www.chelseamcbee.com/bio/#sthash.BGEuKrYd.dpuf' target='_blank'> http://www.chelseamcbee.com/bio/#sthash.BGEuKrYd.dpuf
