Wanted to see for years. Best $5 I spent in a long time.
Marcia Ball was excellent as always! The sound was also excellent, but the video was very jerky and slow. That really hurt the "live" feel
Marcia was wonderful as always. Very much enjoyed the show & looking forward to seeing more concerts. I am not able to attend concerts, so this was a real treat for me. Video quality not real good. I get better quality on skype. However, I realize that may be due to my pc/software, etc.
Excellent concert by a rollicking, kick-butt, key pounding performance by Marcia Ball. Her back-up band was top notch with great solo performances by lead guitar player and sax man. She introduced the band several times. She is top notch performer and great personality.
Marcia rocks, and she has surrounded herself with some virtuoso players. Thad and Mike soared tonight. I hope Concert Window can arrange to webcast more of her performances in the future. Camera framing of the stage was excellent as was the audio/video streaming.
only caught a little of this show with so much good stuff on CW this night but enjoyed what I saw & hope to see more of this revived band, lots of rockin' talent and good audio & video when I was watching
The band was great and sound and video were excellent.
Thought show was excellent.the sound was top notch. I was lucky to see merl and jerry in 1974 at the bottom line in nyc and this brought back a lot of memories
Totally loved this show!
Always a pleasure to see Cheryl in concert...she has been very good at what she does for a very long time.
I have seen Cheryl's performances many times over the years. Imho, she never disappoints and always displays her wit, humor, and sensitivity with abandon....I was glad to meet her ukelele this time around, long may he/she play. Cheryl has always been the real deal and always will be.
I have loved Cheryl Wheeler for 20 years. I have seen her live several times, but this Concert Window concert will probably be my last time. Cheryl is not a lot of fun to watch. She is even less fun when seen from as far back as Concert Window believes is appropriate. Wheeler's songs can be very moving & beautiful. The amount of comedy patter she inserts between them can be excessive. Then there are the comedy songs. Between them and the patter the moving and beautiful kind of gets pushed aside. This has been a trademark of Cheryl for many years. She is witty and fun, but in a concert as short as this one was, I was left wanting a little less fun & a little more beauty. That is, I was literally left howling at the wind.
It was a great show! Thanks to the band for doing it!
Those guys are goin places! Very entertaining..great singers, songs, and musicians!
Brilliant set.
I would have liked to see a few different camera angles, and some closeups. The concert itself was wonderful. Laurence Juber can do amazing things with an acoustic guitar. I enjoy his comments and stories as well. He puts on a very enjoyable show.
Fantastic, masterful, not enough superlatives...
Grace is a great performer and an even better sister! <3, Christina.
