"I love playing Tupelo Music Hall... it's the perfect venue for a live web cast. The fans are up close and there is a lot of interaction, the room itself has that real live wood sound that is warm without a lot of bothersome slap back that you get in some places. I just felt really comfortable on the stage and the band really enjoyed the gig."

Show reviews

  • NO SOUND :-(

  • audio never worked. Such a shame bc they are a great band.

  • Venue had audio issues that could not be fixed during the concert. Concert live webcast was canceled. Video was very good though.

  • No sound!

  • I thought the band were excellent and it enjoyed them very much. However, I was disappointed with the sound, it sounded compressed and was distorted in places.

  • Very disappointed in the performance. Paul was there in body but not in spirit, David Freiberg was strong -- he's got lungs, he can still sing well. He needs to join a better band.

Cathy Richardson was obnoxious, bombastic, no nuance, no sense of lyricism whatever. The stage setting was miserable. I've seen better lit and decorated high school cover bands. That played JA and JS a lot better than these croaking turkeys. I've seen them be SO much better on YouTube.

These geezers need to hang it up. And I say that as a HUGE Jefferson Airplane fan since 1967,

That rip aside -- I love your medium, and would gladly watch another show on Concert Window. Some 60s-70s musicians, of course.

You have a very nice viewing medium -- but -- JS just phoned in that performance. Ain't gonna pay $20 up front again . . . pay less, tip if I want to, and I would for a band that could still play. Your format would work well with even arena performances, though I think you'll be best in a small stage in the round, carpets, unplugged style. For classic, established and emerging artists alike, they can tweak their shows a bit to your format and you'll have a formidable product.

But I picked JS -- which is the only band I recognize on your performance list -- and I learned my lesson. I wish they would learn theirs and hang it up, rather than continue to blemish their name and their history.

That was ONCE the top live performance band in the US, in the late 60s and early 70s. There's nothing left but the dregs.

  • Smokin' rhythm section. Hot guitar leads. Strong vocals. Great blues-R&B ensemble!

  • Great show. Streaming was very good. Looking forward to more Tupelo AND JS shows.

  • Cathy Richardson carries this band with exceptional vocals and Jude Gold is...breathtaking. It's great to see David Frieberg still rocking. He is my real hero. Chris on keyboards is a great talent, Donny on drums keeps it all steady and is a real pro. Paul Kantner, the legend, was in good voice, and we're grateful he still has the desire and energy to bring us a truly enjoyable trip down memory lane and exceptionally talented band.

  • The sound and video quality were excellent.. The only suggestion and request that I would add is that I would like to see the site email weekly with news of what shows are upcoming or that we could have a list of bands that we'd like to be emailed about

  • It was an AWESOME show. Enjoyed it very much.

  • Write your Fnatastic

  • Killa!

  • I completely enjoyed the Max Creek feed from Tupello Hall in New Hampshire.
the audio levels were a bit high and had a hum that you could only notice in between songs and the video was a little dark, but I would do it again without hesitation.
please continue to make Max Creek shows available to those of us who can not make the long drive.

  • Max creek was great. Sound was pretty good, but vocals seemed a bit distorted in the stream. Kind of wish the video camera was positioned better. But great to see creek love from the couch

  • Max Creek ALWAYS puts on a 5 star show! This was no exception.

  • Good stream Great Show!! A lot of fun chatting with other freaks...I recommend it!!!

  • Awesome show! Thanks for streaming it!

  • It was great to catch the show from my home in Santa Fe, NM. One improvement could be made - the sound was coming in a little hot and would get distorted during the louder parts of the show. Other than that, the quality was great, soundboard I assume. Other than that, the show itself was great and feel lucky to see the Creek out here. You guys coming to Denver this year?

  • The show was great. Vocals were a bit distorted and could be improved. Picture as well. My wife and I enjoyed it quite a bit. We think its a great idea and will do it again.
