Since doors opened in January of 2005, The Bugle Boy has rapidly become one of the premier listening rooms in the country. Artists receive the undivided attention of the audience, and the audience gets a live music experience to remember. The focus is on original, independent singer/songwriters, who perform folk, blues, rock, jazz, swing and everything in between.

The show was awesome! Since I live on the East Coast, I rarely get to see Bill live in person, so this was a great way to "attend" a show. The picture and sound quality were perfect, and Bill did a fantastic show, as always. I was so glad to have the opportunity to see this show via streaming!!
The streaming did very well, although it didn't open on my Ipad. I had to watch on my PC. Bill Carter and Gabe Rhodes were fantastic! I hope Bill Carter comes back more times!
I might have left 5 stars if I had anything to compare it to. I enjoyed it immensely.
They just keep getting better and better!
Brennen and Noel were fantastic as usual and performed an awesome set. They rarely travel to Los Angeles, so it's fantastic to see them live from a listening room venue. The sound feed was excellent and there were no hiccups or glitches, so I'll be looking forward to more Concert Window shows from The Bugle Boy!
Lots of freeze ups and technical difficulties; had to restart stream at least a dozen times; very dissapointing
The show was great. There were some streaming issues.
love Ruthie but the webcast pretty much sucked. It kept freezing up and not showing one my most favorite musicians which was quite disappointing. Hopefully concert window will get Internet connection at bugle boy figured out.
Ruthie Foster is one of my favorite singers/musicians. She is superb and her band is a joy. Friday, it was her and Samantha Banks-a fantastic percussionist. Ruthie set the context for her songs and it was a joy to hear her talk so lovingly about Texas, which to me is a very strange place. The unfortunate part of the evening was the streaming experience. It was touch and go most of the night and this made the "show" a poor viewing experience. I love the idea of streaming live shows over the internet, however the venue has to put real effort into making sure they can handle live streaming. I give this 5 stars for Ruthie Foster, but only 2 stars for the venue.
Continual streaming problems through the show and Ruthie talked too much and seemed rather under-prepared. Pity because she was so good at Byron Bay last year that we went to both her shows. I bailed out early.
Ruthie was great, but the multiple pauses and some visual distortions were a problem.
WriIte your review here...I really enjoyed Ruthie and Samantha, I liked having live chat with fellow fans and you cw so we could let you know about the buffering problems
While I feel it's very important to support shows at the Bugle Boy, I'm going to wait until I hear they've increased their bandwidth as there was way too much buffering/freezing during Ruthie Foster's show. It was pretty bad.
the streaming was terrible! Such a disappointment.
Ruthie was great while streaming video worked. Jo Ann
Technical difficulties were ridiculous - could barely see the concert and what we did see was ruined by the herky jerky nature of the stream. CW Support apologized and suggested we could ask for a refund, but when I went to do that, that page had technical difficulties!! I would like Ruthie to get what she would have gotten because it isn't her fault that it was so screwed up. But your part should be refunded to all who watched for basically ruining a whole evening. We all kept trying because we wanted to see her so much (we had had it on our calendar for weeks), but not only did we not get a concert watch viewing, we also waste a whole evening when we could have been doing something else that was a lot less frustrating.
I love Ruthie, but the buffering was excruciating to the point I had to log off after about 15 minutes.
Ruthie is always outstanding. Technical issues (again) in the first set - take away from the experience.
