Worth staying up for in the UK. Streaming worked well, I enjoyed chatting with others, too. Good mix of old and new songs, Richard brave enough to try new arrangements out of well loved songs and debut new material on a first gig of a new year and new tour. Blew the cobwebs away.

This was a terrific deal for a mere $5, especially once I was able to route the sound through my stereo speakers. The video is only serviceable tho not great but hey, what do you expect for 5 bucks?
Richard was as always wonderful to hear. And Marc proved to be a sensitive and talented guitarist. I might listen in again to the show tonight. Really appreciated being able to tap into Richard's live work this way. I love the Internet.

The technical part of the webcast worked flawlessly, allowing me to enjoy the "comeback" show of Richard Shindell while I was sitting in front of my European computer at 2 a.m. in the middle of the night. To be honest, I'm not a big fan of fast-cut professional live videos that make it all look like a video clip. So I was quite happy about the static picture that captured it all - Richard and Mark on stage. The two musicians sounded very good and played a neat selection of old favorites and news tunes. The nice thing about Richard Shindell is that you never know exactly what you're going to get. It was especially nice to chat with other viewers, guess songs by their opening chords and simply indulge in listening to one of the great voices of folk music.
