It was a great show. Poor old shine is awesome! thoroughly enjoyed the live stream.
Things to work on: On the live stream, you can't really hear the bass well. Harrison is a great bass player and his stuff wasn't coming through on the video.

I subscribe to Mike & Ruthy 's email newsletter and have since the Mammals played Berkeley with Arlo Guthrie some years ago. Since their usual circuit is the northeast, and I'm on the left coast, the Cafe Purim concert on ConcertWindow was my best option in a long while for hearing them play. The production went off without a hitch, amazingly great sound, a small but clear visual stream, and of course I had the most comfortable seat not in the house. Mike + Ruthy were charming and the music was better than ever. The baby on the back is icing on the banjo, just to mix a few metaphors. Because of the time difference, I couldn't listen much to Poor Old Shine, but what I heard was good. All in all, it was really great having a Cambridge small stage experience with Mike + Ruthy here on the other coast.

Mike and Ruthy totally owned the night... bought their Nyc-Ep on ITunes. Great stuff.

The concert was great, except I couldn't pick up much from the sounds of the bass. I am a fan of Poor Old Shine.
